Question for everyone…
I’m moving out soon, and I got some awesome advice from our 1st AD yesterday. He’s a vet.
He said that this winter will decide if I have the chops to make it in the industry (due to the fact that it slumps from december to mid february) He said if I can come back and still love the work as much, its meant to be. I am wildly driven to become artistically, financially successful in this biz, and find happiness (3 very hard things to achieve). My work ethic is that of the Amish- if I do say so myself.
Anyway, do any of my fellow film/television workers have any suggestions for surviving the freelance world?
